Pacific Conquest: Services

Support

With it's large free deck area and dry cargo hold, state-of-the-art navigational and communication equipment, heavy-duty deck crane and winch, and consignment of additional equipment including an amphibious LARC and high-speed rescue craft, the Pacific Conquest functions perfectly as a support platform for naval exercises and general operations.

Supply

With a dry-hold capacity of 45 cubic metres and a range of 5,500 nautical miles, the Pacific Conquest is able to safely transport large quantities of goods, equipment, and personnel across vast distances. Where loading facilities are inadequate or non-existent, the Pacific Conquest's amphibious LARC is used to efficiently deliver materials ashore.

Research & Survey

Featuring an array of state-of-the-art electronic equipment, including Tsunamis GPS software, satellite phone, and satellite weather fax, the Pacific Conquest is well equipped to operate as a base station for research and survey projects. A large, easily accessible survey room is able to house additional specialist equipment if required.

The Pacific Conquest has a large capacity air compressor for filling dive tanks.

Salvage & Towing

An a-frame and deck winch, each capable of lifting 10 tonnes, enable the Pacific Conquest to quickly and efficiently recover wrecks and artifacts from the sea floor.

The Pacific Conquest has a 9 tonne bollard pull, giving it the capacity to tow large loads safely through coastal regions and open seas.

Sea Floor Profiling

Using a 10 tonne, 12 metre wide, purpose-built sweep bar the Pacific Conquest is able to redistribute material on the sea floor. Sea-floor profiling using the sweep bar offers a low-cost, environmentally friendly, and more precise alternative to conventional dredging in many situations. For example:
   - deepening and widening shipping channels, entrances, and anchorages
   - removing silt deposits from wharf faces and berth pockets
   - ensuring that, following heavy dredging operations, the sea floor is level prior to survey
