Gippsland: General Information
The Gippsland is a 42 metre long, 11 metre wide dumb/construction barge.
The Gippsland serves as a vast work platform for a wide variety of operations, including marine construction, pile driving, off-shore drilling, and salvage.
The Gippsland's hull has been designed for coastal voyages and superior stability, resulting in consistently excellent behaviour under tow in all conditions with a minimum loss of speed. As such, the Gippsland becomes an excellent solution not only for predominately stationary construction and drilling operations, but also for the coastal transportation of freight and cargo.
The Gippsland is available with or without a 4-point mooring system, including anchors, hydraulic winches, and power pack.
She underwent a complete refit in 2006 and is in excellent order.
